I'm often asked how much fabric costs. My usual answer is that it varies and that there are a lot of factors to how much you'll pay.I recently realised that I was working with two fabrics that illustrated how much the cost can vary. The fabric on the right is a voile that cost £2 per metre. The fabric on the left is from a custom embroidered linen panel that cost well over £100 per metre.
